Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Qualification: Full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering in the respective discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum Marks: 60% or equivalent CGPA for General/OBC/EWS; Pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD.
- GATE 2026 Requirement: Candidates must qualify GATE 2026 in the corresponding paper (EE, CE, or CS). GATE scores from previous years are invalid.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- GATE 2026 Score (85% Weightage): Shortlisting based on normalized marks.
- Group Discussion (3% Weightage): No separate qualifying marks.
- Personal Interview (12% Weightage): Qualifying marks: 40% for UR/EWS, 30% for OBC/SC/ST/PwBD.
- Medical Examination: Final fitness as per POWERGRID standards.
No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the Group Discussion or Interview.
