- Qualification: Retired Judicial Officer who has worked as a District Judge.
- Age: Candidates must be below 62 years of age as of 30 November 2026.
- Experience: Must have served as a District Judge.
- Character: No adverse reporting during service tenure; no disciplinary or criminal proceeding pending.
- Health: Must possess sound health.
- Desirable: Preferably retired recently.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Scrutiny of applications by the Authority.
- Interview/Counselling/Interaction of shortlisted candidates.
- The Authority may obtain and consider ACRs/APARs of the last three years.
- Names forwarded by the Law Department will also be invited for Interview/Counselling/Interaction.
- Decision of the Authority on eligibility, shortlisting, and selection is final.
- No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the Interview.
