Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

These vacancies are being filled up on a deputation basis. Only serving Government servants from eligible parent cadres who meet the prescribed experience norms as per WCCB and MoEF&CC deputation guidelines are eligible to apply. The parent cadre for each post is as follows:

  • Assistant Director / Dy.SP / ACF: Deputation from Deputy Superintendent of Police (Armed Police) cadre or Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) cadre with relevant experience in law enforcement or forest wildlife protection.
  • Public Prosecutor: Deputation from Legal cadre / Prosecution service with experience in criminal prosecution, preferably in wildlife or environmental crime cases.
  • Inspector / Rangers / Customs Superintendent: Deputation from Forest Ranger cadre or Customs Superintendent cadre with field experience in wildlife or border/customs enforcement.
  • Stenographer Grade-I / Personal Assistant: Deputation from Stenographer Grade-I / Personal Assistant cadre with stenography and secretarial skills.
  • Stenographer Grade-III: Deputation from Stenographer Grade-III cadre with speed in shorthand and typing.
  • Head Constable: Deputation from Constabulary / Head Constable cadre with experience in policing or security duties.
  • Driver: Deputation from Driver cadre with valid heavy/light motor vehicle licence and driving experience.

Applicants must ensure they are within the deputation tenure limits (initial period plus extensions) as prescribed by DoPT guidelines and have a clear service record. Candidates should route their applications through proper channel with an undertaking from their parent department.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

All posts at Wildlife Crime Control Bureau are being filled up on a deputation basis. The selection process involves:

  1. Scrutiny of Applications: Applications received by post and email will be screened for eligibility, cadre relevance, deputation tenure norms, and completeness of documents.
