HRA will be given as per the existing State Government rates applicable in various places/locations and is subject to change from time to time as per Government orders.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Ph.D. in the relevant subject – Eligible for the post of Teaching Associate (Agronomy).
• Master's Degree in the relevant subject – Eligible for the post of Teaching Associate (Agronomy).
• Bachelor's Degree of 4/5 years having first division or equivalent overall grade point average.
• Experience: At least 3 years of teaching / research experience as evidenced from Fellowship / Associateship / Training / other engagements.
• Publication: One research paper published in a Science Citation Index (SCI) / NAAS rated ≥4.0 journal.
• NET Qualification: Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree must hold NET qualification.
• Age Limit: Upper age limit is 40 years for Men and 45 years for Women.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Candidates must register their names at the Office of the Associate Dean, Agricultural College, Naira, before 9:30 AM on 15 October 2026.
• Registered candidates will be interviewed by a selection committee.
• The interview will be held on 15 October 2026 at 1:30 PM.
• Selected candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination at their own expense as per rules before appointment.
• No T.A & D.A will be paid to candidates appearing for the interview.
• The decision of the selection committee will be final and binding in all respects.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Filled-in application form with personal and educational details.
• Original certificates of all educational qualifications.
• One set of photocopies of all certificates and research publications.
• Two recent passport-size photographs and valid Photo ID proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN).
• Candidates must report to the Office of the Associate Dean, Agricultural College, Naira, before 9:30 AM on the interview date with all documents.

Important Instructions for Contractual Engagement

• The individual will be engaged purely on a temporary and contractual basis for a period not exceeding 11 months, and will be terminated automatically after completion of 11 months or filling of regular staff by the University, whichever is earlier.
• The incumbent shall not have any claim or right to claim for any regular appointment in the University or any government organization.
• The incumbent shall not have any claim or right for further continuation of contractual service.
• Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification at the time of selection or termination even during the contractual engagement period.
• Contractual engagement can be terminated at any time without prior notice or assigning any reason.
• Engaged persons may leave the contractual service on their own by giving one month's notice, otherwise one month's salary shall be paid before leaving.
