Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Municipal Commissioner Grade-III, Sub-Registrar Grade-II, Deputy Tahsildar, GST Officer, Assistant Registrar, Deputy MPDO, Excise SI and ASO (GAD): Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
- Assistant Section Officer - Finance Department: Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Economics or Commerce from a recognized university, or equivalent qualification.
- Assistant Section Officer - Law Department: Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognized university, or equivalent qualification.
- Senior Accountant and Junior Accountant: Degree in Commerce, Economics or Mathematics, or another degree as allowed under the notification, together with the prescribed certificate course; alternatively, specified computer-related degrees are accepted.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection process comprises an offline OMR-based Screening Test (Preliminary Examination) and a Main Examination. Additionally, a Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) is included as per the notification annexure.
The Screening Test is objective type with 150 questions for 150 marks, duration 150 minutes. The Main Examination consists of two objective-type papers (150 marks each) for a total of 300 marks, duration 150 minutes per paper.
Negative marking: One-third of the marks assigned to each incorrect answer will be deducted in both the Screening Test and Main Examination.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the examination or interview.
