The Document Verification (DV) stage is mandatory for all provisionally selected candidates after the final examination stage, involving the physical verification of original certificates against the data provided in the application form.

DV Procedure:
  • Candidates must report to the designated Regional Office of the SSC with the call letter.
  • All documents must be presented in original, along with self-attested copies, for scrutiny by the Commission's officials.
  • Biometric verification is usually conducted to confirm the candidate's identity established during the examination phases.

Mandatory Documents Required (Original and Copies):
  • Educational Certificates: Matriculation/10th Certificate (for Date of Birth proof), 12th Certificate, and Graduation/Diploma Degree and Marksheets (for CGL/CHSL).
  • Identity Proof: Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, Passport, etc.).
  • Category Certificates (If Applicable): SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS Certificate in the format prescribed for Central Government posts, issued by the Competent Authority, and valid as of the cut-off date.
  • PwBD Certificate: Valid Disability Certificate issued by the competent Medical Board.
  • Ex-Servicemen Certificate: Discharge Certificate and necessary undertaking.
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC): Required from current employees of Central/State Government/PSUs, if applicable, to claim age relaxation or for final appointment.

Disqualification: Discrepancy between the information provided in the application and the original documents, or failure to produce any mandatory certificate, will result in the rejection of candidature.
