What is the educational qualification required for SSC CHSL?

Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.

- For Data Entry Operator (DEO) in certain departments (e.g., Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India): Additional requirement of typing speed and basic computer knowledge
- For Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant: No additional qualification beyond 12th pass
- Candidates appearing in the final year of 12th are not eligible; the qualification must be completed before the application closing date
