SSC CHSL follows the Government of India’s reservation policy:

- SC: 15%
- ST: 7.5%
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 27%
- EWS: 10%
- PwBD: 4% (horizontal reservation across all categories)
- Ex-Servicemen: As per DoPT instructions

Conditions:
- OBC candidates must not belong to the Creamy Layer and must submit a valid certificate issued on or after 1st April of the notification year.
- PwBD candidates must have at least 40% benchmark disability and a certificate in the prescribed format.
- Reservation is applied during shortlisting and final selection based on category and post availability.

Final allocation is subject to verification; false claims result in disqualification.
