Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Nationality: Only young and meritorious Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
- JRF – Mathematics:
- MSc in Mathematics with first division from an AICTE accredited Institute or University.
- Candidate must be qualified in NET or GATE.
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection procedure involves three sequential stages conducted on 24 November 2026 at CAIR Campus, Bengaluru:
- Screening of Applications: Applications received by e-mail by 30 October 2026 are screened for eligibility. Incomplete applications are rejected during this stage. Only eligible candidates are called for the written test and interview.
- Written Test: Conducted for all eligible candidates who report for the selection procedure on 24 November 2026 from 10:00 Hrs. onwards.
- Interview: Candidates qualifying the written test are interviewed on the same day (24 November 2026). The appointment is made solely as per the merit list based on performance in the interview.
Important: No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview or at the time of joining if selected.

- Project report in support of candidature (optional)

- NOC from employer if presently employed in Government departments / PSUs / Autonomous bodies
Instructions:
- Late-arriving candidates will not be allowed to participate in the walk-in interview process.
- Electronic items including mobile phones, pen drives, laptops, optical disks, and smartwatches are strictly prohibited inside the CAIR Campus.
- No vehicle parking facility is provided at the venue; candidates should use public transport.
