Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria (all degrees must be from ICAR accredited Universities/Institutions):
- Option 1 (Ph.D.): Ph.D. in Genetics and Plant Breeding from a recognized University/Institution.
- Option 2 (Master's): Master's degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding with a 4/5 years Bachelor's degree, having first division or equivalent overall grade point average.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching/research experience (evidenced by Fellowship/Associateship/Training).
- Publication: At least one research paper published in a Science Citation Index (SCI) or NAAS rated (>4.0) journal.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 40 years
- Age Relaxation: Up to 45 years for Women candidates.
