Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

- (a) Ph.D. in the relevant subject (Plant Pathology), OR
- (b) Master's degree in the relevant subject
- (c) Bachelor's Degree of 4 or 5 years duration with First Division or equivalent overall grade point average
- (d) Minimum 3 years of teaching / research experience, evidenced from Fellowship, Associateship, Training, or other relevant engagements
- (e) At least one research paper published in a Science Citation Index (SCI) or NAAS rated ≥ 4.0 journal
- (f) Candidates holding a Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's + 2 years Master's pattern must possess NET qualification

Important Contractual Terms

- The incumbent shall have no claim or right for any regular appointment in the University or any government organization.
- The incumbent shall have no right to continuation of contractual service beyond the stipulated period.
- Concealment of facts or canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification — at the time of selection or even during the engagement period.
- The contractual engagement can be terminated at any time without prior notice by the University.
- The engaged person may resign by giving one-month written notice or, alternatively, one month's salary in lieu of notice.
- Selected candidates must undergo a medical examination at their own cost to confirm physical fitness prior to appointment.
