4. Essential: B. Sc. With 60% marks and above in any discipline in Biological Sciences.
5. Desirable:Experience in animal handling skills.

Selection Procedure
1. The prescribed essential qualifications are bare minimum and mere possession of same will not entitle the candidate to be called for interview. The Institute reserves the right to select the suitable candidate.
2. Display of the short list of candidates for interview: Will be displayed on the Institute website
3. Day, Date & time of Interview: Will be communicate by email to concerned candidates
4. Mode of Interview: Interview will be held through 'google-meet / zoom' only

2. Candidates fulfilling above conditions may apply through online mode on google form link https://ARI/DBT/SP-297-JRF & PA-Application Form and upload the duly filled prescribed application (available under this advertisement) along with selfattested Scanned certificates, recent Passport size photograph, caste certificate issued by competent authority (for reserved category), receipt of online payment of fees on or before 25 th January, 2022.
3. All documents mentioned in prescribed application available under this advertisement at Sr.No.10. & 11 should be submitted at the time of interview/ selection

Agharkar Research Institute (ARI) is an autonomous institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DST). It was established in 1946 as Maharashtra Association for the Cultivation of Science (MACS). Later, as the research activities started expanding, the MACS Research Institute was given a separate identity. The institute was renamed as ARI in 1992 to honour its founder Director, late Professor S. P. Agharkar. The current research and development activities of ARI are spread over six different themes, namely Biodiversity & Paleobiology, Bioenergy, Bioprospecting, Developmental Biology, Genetics & Plant Breeding, and Nanobioscience.
It is affiliated with the S.P. Pune University for postgraduate research (M.Sc. and Ph.D.).
