• Essential Qualification: A Bachelor's or Master's or Doctorate degree must be as per UGC Act Section 22(3) in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Sciences, Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Medicine from a recognized University.
• Specific Groups:
  • Food Technology Group: Food Technology, Food Engineering, Food Engineering and Technology, Food Processing and Preservation, Food Processing Technology, Food Technology and Management, Food Biotechnology, Food Plant Operations Management, Food Process Engineering and Management, Food Processing, Food Safety and Quality Management, Process and Food Engineering.
  • Agricultural Science Group: Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Biotechnology, Dairy Technology, Fisheries, Food Technology, Food Nutrition and Dietetic, Horticulture.
  • Medicine Disciplines: MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, BAMS, or Bachelor of Sowa Rigpa Medicine and Surgery.
• Age Limit: 18 to 35 years as on 27-01-2026.
  • Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS candidates native to Gujarat; 5 years for women; 10 years for disabled candidates. Maximum upper age limit is 45 years including all relaxations (except AMC employees).
