Airports Authority of India (AAI), Southern Region, has released a recruitment notification for the post of Senior Assistant (Official Language). Eligibility for Senior Assistant (Official Language)

• Essential Qualification:
  1. Masters in Hindi with English as a subject at Graduation level OR Masters in English with Hindi as a subject at Graduation level.
  OR
  2. Masters in any subject apart from Hindi/English from a recognized University along with Hindi and English as compulsory/optional subjects at graduation level.
  OR
  3. Masters in any subject apart from Hindi/English from a recognized University along with Hindi and English as medium and compulsory/optional subjects or medium of examination at graduation level.
  OR
  4. Graduation Degree from a recognized University along with Hindi and English as compulsory/optional subjects or any one out of both as medium of examination and other as compulsory/optional subject along with recognized Diploma/Certificate course of Hindi to English and English to Hindi Translation or two years’ experience of Hindi to English and English to Hindi Translation at Central/State government offices.
• Experience: Two years relevant (Post qualification) experience in the concerned discipline. Only full-time experience acquired after acquiring the educational qualification will be considered.
• Desirable: Refer to official notification.

Salary/Stipend

Selected candidates will receive a basic pay in the scale of Rs. 36,000 - 1,10,000 along with Dearness Allowance, Perks, HRA, CPF, Gratuity, Social Security Schemes, and Medical Benefits as per AAI rules.

Age Limit & Relaxation

Age Limit: 18 to 30 years as on 31.10.2025.

Age Relaxation:

• ST Category: 5 years relaxation.
• Ex-Servicemen: 3 years extension of service.
• AAI Employees: 10 years relaxation (plus 5 years for ST).
• Widows/Divorced Women: Up to 35 years (Up to 40 years for ST).
• PwBD Candidates: 10 years relaxation (Max 15 years for ST PwBD).

• Last Date for Online Registration: 4 January 2026 (23:55 Hrs)
• Date of Online Examination: Will be notified on the website

Selection Process

The selection process consists of two stages:

Stage-I: Computer Based Test (CBT)

• Mode: Online
• Duration: 2 Hours
• Total Marks: 100
• Syllabus: 50% questions on subjects relating to educational qualifications; 50% on General Knowledge, General Intelligence, General Aptitude & English.
• Qualifying Marks: 40 out of 100 for ST candidates.

Stage-II:

• Biometric Attendance verification
• Document / Certificate verification
• Computer Literacy Test in MS Office (Hindi): Qualifying in nature.
  Topics: MS-Word (20 marks), MS-Excel (20 marks), MS-PowerPoint (10 marks).
  Qualifying Marks: 10 in MS-Word, 10 in MS-Excel, 5 in MS-PowerPoint (Total 25).

Application Fee

Nil. As the post is reserved for ST category candidates only, no application fee is payable.

3. Complete Step-I (Sign-Up) to generate User ID and Password.
4. Login to complete Step-II (Filling up Application Form), upload Photo, Signature, and required documents.

6. Retain a printout of the application form for future reference.
