Eligibility Criteria for Medical Physicist Posts

1. Medical Physicist (Radiotherapy)

• Essential Qualification:
  • Post Graduate Degree in Physics from a recognized University; AND
  • A Post M.Sc. diploma in Radiological/Medical Physics from a recognized University; AND
  • An internship of minimum 12 months in a recognized well-equipped radiation therapy department.
• OR
  • A basic degree in Science (Physics as main subject) from a recognized University; AND
  • A Post Graduate degree in Radiological/Medical Physics from a recognized University; AND
  • An internship of minimum 12 months in a recognized well-equipped radiation therapy department.

2. Medical Physicist (Nuclear Medicine)

• Essential Qualification:
  • M.Sc. Nuclear Medicine Technology from a recognized University/Institution; AND
  • RSO Level-II Certification recognized by AERB.
• Desirable: Ph.D. in Nuclear Medicine.

Age Limit
