AIISH, Mysore invites applications for Research Officer / Junior Research Officer for various Research Projects to be filled on contract basis at the Institute as detailed below:
1. Name of the Post: Research Officer - 02
2. Name of the Project: Effect of Cochlear Implantation on middle ear and saccular function
3. Salary: Rs.39000/- per month and no other allowances are admissible.
4. Duration: 12 months
5. Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (Audiology) / MASLP or Equivalent with at least 55% marks
6. Desireble: M.Sc. (Audiology) / MASLP or Equivalent with at least 55% marks
7. Languages Known: Hindi and English
8. Place of Work: Research Officer-I : Indore & AllSH (18 months at SAIMS, Indore and last 06 months at AIISH, Mysore Research Officer-2 : New Delhi & AllSH (18 months at AllMS, New Delhi and last 06 months at AIISH, Mysore)
1. Name of the Post: Research Officer - 01
2. Name of the Project: Comparison of perceptual and few Acoustic Characteristics in Hindi and Kannada of persons with hypokinetic and ataxic d sarthria
3. Salary: Rs.39000/- per month and no other allowances are admissible.
4. Duration: 12 months
5. Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (SLP)
6. Desireble: 01 year experience. Should be motivated to conduct research
7. Languages Known: Kannada, English, Hindi
8. Place of Work: NIMHANS, Bangalore and AIISH, Mysore (only last two months)
1. Name of the Post: Research Officer - 01
2. Name of the Project: Association between speech in noise perception and different measures of bottom-up and top-down processing across age in adults with normal hearing sensitivity
3. Salary: Rs.39000/- per month and no other allowances are admissible.
4. Duration: 12 months
5. Essential Qualification: Master's Degree in Audiology (M.Sc. in Audiology) with minimum 55% aggregate marks 2. Preference will be given to the candidate who has experience working with MATLAB
6. Nature of Work: Should work in accordance with the project proposal and agreements (Data collection, Data analysis, Report generation, Research writing, Publication and Scientific presentations)
7. Languages Known: Kannada, English
