Skills / Eligibility
The following post is to be filled up ror the project entled below in the office of Main Vegetable Research Station, Anand Agricultural University, Anand. The project period is up to two years. 1. Post Name: Technical Assistant 2. No. of Post: 01 3. Educational Qualification: B.Sc. (Agri.) OR Pursuing / completed M. Sc. (Agri.) or Ph.D. (Agri.) in Agril. Entomology Plant Breeding and Genetics / Genetics and Plant Breeding 4. Fellowship Amount Rs. 16,000/ fix per month 5. The appointment will be purely on the contractual basis and hence will not provide any employment after completion of the research scheme. The services of Technical Assistant may be terminated without any notice at any time by the University.

Selection Procedure
Please attach the certified copies of all the relevant documents chronologically. If the numbers of candidates are more, written test will be conducted.

Anand Agricultural University (AAU) was established in 2004 at Anand with the support of the Government of Gujarat, Act No.(Guj 5 of 2004) dated April 29, 2004. Caved out of the erstwhile Gujarat Agricultural University (GAU), the dream institution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Dr. K. M. Munshi, the AAU was set up to provide support to the farming community in three facets namely education, research and extension activities in Agriculture, Horticulture Engineering, product Processing and Home Science. At present there seven Colleges, seventeen Research Centers and six Extension Education Institute working in nine districts of Gujarat namely Ahmedabad, Anand, Dahod, Kheda, Panchmahal, Vadodara, Mahisagar, Botad and Chhotaudepur
