Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Agriculture Officer: Master Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Agriculture Engineering Assistant: Degree in Agriculture Engineering from a recognized University/Board. Desirable: Training in Soil and Water Conservation Work; 02 years experience in Minor Irrigation or Farm Mechanization Works.
• Agriculture Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from a recognized university or equivalent. Desirable: Two years’ experience in Farm Management & Agriculture Extension Works; Knowledge to read and write Hindi.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

Selection is based on the Computer Based Test (CBT) and Document Verification. The CBT includes General Studies (30 questions, 30 marks) and Subject Paper (100 questions, 100 marks) with a total duration of 120 minutes. Negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer applies. Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the CBT or verification process.
