Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with 6(six) months Computer Diploma. Candidates with proficiency in excel will be preferred.

Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) is responsible for producing, maintaining, and operating a power distribution system in the state of Assam. The main mission of the company was to take over, handle, and operate the electricity distribution system, and assets by taking under the Assam State Electricity Board (ASEB).
The Company was established on 23rd October .2009 as a public limited company. The company is governed by the Assam Government. It undertook the electricity distribution, trading, and supply in and out of the state of Assam e with provisions of Applicable Law and all activities ancillary or appurtenant thereto.
The Government of Assam notified the provisional transfer scheme vied Gazette notification bearing no. PEL. 151/2003/Pt./165 dated 10th December 2004 as well as the final transfer scheme vide Gazette Notification PEL.151/2003/Pt./349 dated Dispur, the 16th August 2005 under the Electricity Act, 2003 transferring the various assets, liabilities, etc. of the ASEB to the Company.
