The Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission Society (ASRLMS) was an independent autonomous institution functions under the Government of Assam, established by Panchayat & Rural Development Department.
The main objective of Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission Society (ASRLMS) is to enhancing the social and economic empowerment of the rural poor in State, to strengthen livelihood of the rural poor by providing skill development and placement for youth for wages based occupation and imparting self employment oriented training.
The Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission Society (ASRLMS) functions to promote Micro Finance Institution in order to deal with the development of rural poor by providing financial assistance and obtaining commercial funding under the guidance of State level Society to support village government in becoming more responsive and effective in delivery of services and assisting the rural poor.
