Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the temporary position of Research Associate to work in the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA 2.0) sponsored thematic research project “Component 10: Research, Innovation and Quality Improvement” – Biological Sciences under the supervision of Dr. R. Thirumurugan, Professor and Head, Department of Animal Science, School of Life Sciences, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli – 620 024. 1. Name of the Post : Research Associate (01 No.) 2. Title of the Project : Exploitation of Bioactive Compounds and Its Role in Sustainable Aquaculture 3. Area of work : Bioactive Compounds, Nutrition and Immune Enrichment in Fish 4. Duration : Upto July, 2023. 5. Qualifications : a) Essential: The candidate should have submitted his/her Ph.D. thesis/Ph.D. awarded (Zoology/Biotechnology/Other Biological Sciences) and minimum of two research article (with SCI impact factor - 2.0) as first author. b) Desired: Research Experience in Aquaculture Nutrition/Disease Management/Toxicology/Nanotechnology 6. Fellowship : Rs. 25,000/-pm (consolidated)

Highly qualified and interested candidates are invited to attend walk in interview with all your original certificates and biography on 10th March 2022, 11 a.m. at Department of Animal Science, School of Life Sciences, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli – 620 024.
1. The appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on termination of the research project.
2. The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment/absorption in Funding Agency.
3. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.
