About Bipradas Pal Chowdhury Institute Of Technology

Established in July 1956, the Bipradas Pal Chowdhury (B.P.C.) Institute of Technology holds the distinction of being the first technological institute in the Nadia district of West Bengal. Originally known as the Govt. sponsored Institute under the State Council for Engineering & Technical Education, it was renamed in honour of Late Palchoudhury. The institute began its journey by introducing two foundational courses: a three-year L.C.E. diploma and a two-year certificate course in draftsmanship.

It was officially recognised by the Government of West Bengal under the Directorate of Technical Education and Training, W.B., in September 1977. Further solidifying its academic standing, B.P.C.
