Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Department of Biotechnology, Ramalingaswami project entitled “In-silico design and validation of boronic acid-based molecules for the treatment of colorectal cancer: Computer aided hit to lead discovery" at Department of Bioengineering and Biotechnology, BIT Mesra, Ranchi. 1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow 2. No. of Post: 01 3. Eligibility: Postgraduate Degree in Life Science/Physics/Chemistry/Pharmacy or computer science/chemical engineering/biotechnology and related disciplines 4. Desirable:Qualified the CSIR- UGC, NET (including lectureship), GATE and other National level examinations Experience in Molecular modelling and MD simulations, Experience in Computer-aided drug design 5. Fellowship/month: Rs 31,000/- + applicable HRA as per DBT and BIT, Mesra rule. 6. Tenure: 1 year (Extendable up to 2 years subjected to excellent performance and availability of Funds) 7. The appointment under this project is to be treated as temporary for two years subject to availability of the fund and will be governed by the rules / conditions of the sanctioned project.

Selection Procedure
Short listed candidates will be intimated through e-mail only (probable date of online interview: February 4 , 2021). No separate interview call letters will be dispatched.

2. Application in the post of JRF by name of the applicant. Candidates are advised to also send the scan copy of certificates, grade card/mark sheets, publications, and one number of recent colored passport size photographs, etc. as a single pdf file with the application.
