Birla Institute of Technology Mesra (BIT Mesra) Invites Application for Training and Placement Officer Recruitment 2022

Interested eligible candidates are requested to apply for the post of Training & Placement Officer (on contract) at BIT Mesra Off Campuses (Lalpur & Noida). They are required to submit their application in a prescribed application format

1. Position: Training & Placement Officer

2. No of vacancy: 02 (Two)

3. Essential:

Post graduate degree with at least 55% marks in Engineering/ Technology/ MBA preferably with Marketing Specialisation. 03 years’ service experience in the relevant field.

4. Desirable: M.E./ M.Tech from reputed Institution/ university.

5. Duties & Responsibilities:

a. To look after the training and placement activities of students.

b. To have close liaison with industry, Government and non-Government organization for placement of students.

c. To Work in consultation with coordinator Industry-Institute Interaction for organizing lectures from the professionals from industry.

c. To guide the students for competitive examinations such as TOEFL, GRE, GATE, CAT, etc.

d. To collect feedback from the companies coming for placement.

e. Arrange Training programmes for soft skills and for interview facing skills for the students using institutional and external expertise.

f. To organize the entrepreneurship workshops.

g. To create data base on Alumni and their present position.

h. To develop Management Information System (MIS) on placement of passed out students and to create data base of recruiting industries and organization.

i. To support activity in BRANDING and PROMOTIONAL activities.

j. Any other duties assigned from time to time.

6. Mode of Appointment: On contract basis for one year which is further renewable for 3 -5 years period (if required). The contract may be terminated with one month notice from either side.

7. Emoluments : 75,000/- PM (Consolidated)

Selection Procedure

1. Only shortlisted candidates who are found prima facie eligible based on the details given in the application will be called for the written test and / or personal interview as the case may be.

2. The Institute reserves the right to restrict the candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number based on qualification and experience higher than the minimum prescribed as decided by duly constituted Screening Committee(s) and approved by the Competent Authority.

3. Call letters for attending interview will be sent only the short-listed candidates by speed post / registered post / E-mail. No correspondence will be entertained with the applicants who are not short-listed to be called for interview.
