Educational Qualification: M.E/M.Tech
1. Position: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
2. No of post: 01
3. Name of the Project: Design and development of low-cost technology for micronutrient protein-fortified whole grain puffed rice
4. Principal Investigator: Dr. Anupam Roy, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra Ranchi-835215, E-mail: [email protected]
5. Essential Qualification: First Class in M. Tech in Food Technology or allied field from reputed University/Institute. Admission should be done through any national level examination (GATE/ NET or equivalent examination)
6. Desirable Qualification : Candidates with knowledge on “Post-Harvest Processing”
7. Fellowship: Rs. 35000/- per month + 18% HRA (Initially for one year with further extension to one year subjected to research progress and availability of funds).

Selection Procedure
1. Selected candidates are expected to enroll for Ph.D. program of the institute in the subsequent semester after fulfilling admission criteria
2. The post is purely temporary in nature for 24 months subjected to availability of funds and research progress.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

1. Candidates are requested to appear for a walk-in interview on 25th April 2022 (Monday) at Department of Chemical Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi.

3. Candidates are advised to report with original certificate/testimonials along with a set of photocopies of the documents at 9.30 AM sharp on 25th April, 2022 at Department of Chemical Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, 835215, Jharkhand.
