Educational Qualification:
Deputy General Manager (Technical): Full time Degree in Engineering with 16 years post qualification relevant Executive Experience in line in PSU/large Prlvate Sector Chemical Industry out of which atleast 05 years should be at Senior Management level with proven knowledge of modern technological developments in Chemical lndustry.
Chief Manager (Chemical): Full time B.E/B.Tech Degree in Chemical Engineering with l4years post qualification relevant executive experience in line in a PSU/ a large Private Sector Chemical lndustry out of which 04 years should be at the Senior Management level with proven knowledge of modern technological developments in Chemical lndustry.
Chief Manager (Instrumentation): Full time BE / B.Tech. Degree in lnstrumentation /Electronics and Instrumentation/Electronics.
Manager (Safety): Degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology (preferably Chemical engineering) with degree/ diploma in lndustrial safety recognized by Central/State Government with minimum ten (10) years post qualification relevant Executive experience in handling jobs related to safety compliance in Central iState PSUs or reputed lndustry. Knowledge of Assamese language is preferable.
Deputy Manager (Boiler Operation Engineer): Full time B.E / B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg)/ AMIE in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology. Candidates have BOE (Boiler Operation Engineer) certificate is essential. 08 years post professional qualification Executive experience in the field large Ammonia & Urea Plant or a large petrochemicals plant or a large petroleum refinery of State I Central Government Undertakings of repute as Boiler Operation Engineer.
Engineer (Chemical in Production Department): Full time B.E/B.Tech Degree in Chemical Engineering with 03years post qualification executive experience in line in a PSU/ a large Private Sector Chemical lndustry. Preference will be given to candidate having in line experience in Fertilizer & Chemical lndustries.
Officer (Finance): Graduate with CA or ICWA with minimum 03 years post professional qualification Executive experience in-line in a PSU/ large private sector organization with proven knowledge of latest financial procedures and laws. Knowledge of SAP is desirable.
Assistant Manager (Finance): Graduate with C.A. or ICWA with minimum 05 years post professional qualification Executive experience in-line in a PSU/ large private sector organization with proven knowledge of latest financial procedures and laws. Knowledge of SAP is desirable.
Pay Scale:
INR
16400-66000 Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 53 Years.

The Namrup Fertilizer Complex was renamed as Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited after bi-furcation from Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation Limited from 01/04/02. It is located on the bank of dilli river in the south-western border of Dibrugarh District in Assam. It is the first factory in India, who use natural gas as basic raw material for producing nitrogenous fertilizer.
Till the sixties Namrup was not known to the rest of the country. Discovery of oil and natural gas in Naharkatiya region promoted a serious thinking on proper utilization of gas. Which had to be otherwise to be flared up.
Upon the recommendation of M/S Snodgrass Associates of USA ,they suggested utilization of this hidden treasure and suggested to produce a large number of utilities including chemical fertilizers and electricity. the then Ministry of Mines and Fuel appointed a Committee. headed by Shri S S Khera, ICS and based on its broad recommendation in respect of possible use of natural gas, a Technical Committee under the Chairmanship of Dr. G P Kane did further studied the possibilities of setting up a fertilizer plant in Assam. while the Central Water and Power Commission was entrusted to explore the scope of setting up a power project based on this resource.
After making detailed techno-economic study, the Kane Committee recommended a fertilizer factory to be located at Namrup. Needless to say that Central Water & Power Commission too recommended favourably setting up of thermal power plant within a few distance from the fertilizer factory at Namrup.
