Educational Qualification:
Senior Manager (Chemical): Full time B.E/B.Tech Degree in Chemical Engineering with 12 years post qualification relevant executive experience.
Manager (Chemical): Full time B.E/B.Tech Degree in Chemical Engineering with l0years post qualification relevant executive experience.
Engineer (Production): Full time B.E/B.Tech Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 03 years post qualification executive experience in line in a PSU/ a large Private Sector process industry.
Deputy Manager (BOE): Full-time B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg)/ AtUIE in any discipline. A BOE (Boiler Operation Engineer) certificate is essential. 0B years post professional qualification Executive experience in process plant of State /Central Government undertaking Private Sector industry, as high-pressure Boiler Operation Engineer.
Officer (Fire): Full time B.E/B.Tech in Fire Engineering with O3 years post qualification executive experience in Fire in a PSU/ a large Private Sector industry. Physical standards: No deformity. Height: 165 cm(minimum), weight: 50K9.(minimum), Chest:81 cm (minimum), 86 cm (expanded) Height and chest relaxable by 5 cms in case of North-East people, Garhwalls, Gorkha. Vision 6/6 without wearing glasses or any other aid. Night or color blindness shall be a disqualification.

About Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited
The Namrup Fertilizer Complex was renamed as Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited after bi-furcation from Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation Limited from 01/04/02. It is located on the bank of dilli river in the south-western border of Dibrugarh District in Assam. It is the first factory in India, who use natural gas as basic raw material for producing nitrogenous fertilizer.
Till the sixties Namrup was not known to the rest of the country. Discovery of oil and natural gas in Naharkatiya region promoted a serious thinking on proper utilization of gas. Which had to be otherwise to be flared up.
Upon the recommendation of M/S Snodgrass Associates of USA ,they suggested utilization of this hidden treasure and suggested to produce a large number of utilities including chemical fertilizers and electricity. the then Ministry of Mines and Fuel appointed a Committee. headed by Shri S S Khera, ICS and based on its broad recommendation in respect of possible use of natural gas, a Technical Committee under the Chairmanship of Dr. G P Kane did further studied the possibilities of setting up a fertilizer plant in Assam. while the Central Water and Power Commission was entrusted to explore the scope of setting up a power project based on this resource.
After making detailed techno-economic study, the Kane Committee recommended a fertilizer factory to be located at Namrup. Needless to say that Central Water & Power Commission too recommended favourably setting up of thermal power plant within a few distance from the fertilizer factory at Namrup.
