Online applications are invited for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor on contract basis in Physical Education in the existing vacancy at the BPEd Centre Chakkittapara. 1. Post Name: Assistant Professor 2. No. of Post: 01 3. Qualification: Master's Degree in Physical Education from the University of Calicut or any other Universities recognised as equivalent thereto, with not less than 556 marks. NET or Ph.D. in the subject concemed (candidates without NET/Ph.D will also be considered in the absence of NETIPh.D qualified hands) 4. Salary: Candidates with Ph.D - Rs.31,000/- per month (consolidated amount without D A. and any oiher allcwances) Candidates with NET/M.Phil Rs.30,0001- per month (consolidated amount without DA and any otrer allowances) Cendidates without NETIM.Phil - Rs.27,000/- per month (consolidated amount without DA and any other allowances)

2. The vacancies of AssIstant Professor (on contract) that arise in the BPEd Centre Chakkittapara will be flled up from the ranklist prepared on the basis of qualification and interview as per this notification. The candidates should furnish the details of their qualification, experience etc, as prescribed by the University in ine online application form.
3. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from other Universities/State should produce Equivalency Certificate issued by thi University as per the revised regulations for the issuance of equivalent recognitior certificates.
4. University of Calicut (UoC), the largest University in Kerala in terms of the expanse, affiliated colleges, and the number of degrees awarded was established in the year 1968. It is the second University to be started in Kerala. The University caters to the educational requirements and aspirations of the youth in Malabar region, comprising of some of the educationally backward districts of the state.‘Nirmaya Karmana Sree’ being the motto, which denotes "prosperity will be generated through pure actions", UoC has been able to surmount all challenges and has emerged as the largest residential cum affiliating University in Kerala, with 34 post-graduate Departments and 406 affiliated colleges.
