1. Position: Project Assistant 2. Affiliation: CeNSE, IISc, Bengaluru. 3. Vacancy: 2 We are accepting applications for two Project Assistant positions to work on an exciting multidisciplinary project with activities spanning over developing magnetic core-shell to fabricating and testing miniaturized power inductors for future generations of power electronics. 4. The duration of the appointment: One year (with a provision for one year extension) 5. Essential qualification: BE/BTech or ME/MTech or MSc in relevant background. The candidates are expected to be from Electrical/Electronics or Materials/Mechanical or Physics. 6. Desirable qualification: Knowledge in modelling and testing of power inductors in MHz frequencies will be a big plus. Some hands-on experiences in handling power inductors will be highly preferred. 7. Remuneration: The salary will be as per the Indian Institute of Science norms. Appropriate add-on will be given to experienced and deserving candidate.

The Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE) was established in 2010 to pursue interdisciplinary research across several disciplines with a focus on nanoscale systems. Current research topics include, but are not limited to nanoelectronics, MEMS/NEMS, nanomaterials and devices, photonics, nano-biotechnology, solar cells, and computational nano-engineering.
