The Central Bank of India (CBI) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 03 Counselor for FLC (Financial Literacy Centre) posts on a contract basis. Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• Essential: Must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Computer Literacy: Must be proficient in basic knowledge of MS Office, Internet, and Typing in the local language.

2. Experience (Mandatory)

Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:

• Retired/VRS Opted Officials: Retired/VRS opted Bank officials of Scale I & above from Nationalized Banks (including SBI) and RRBs are preferred.
• Other Candidates: Ex-Servicemen or non-bank employees (e.g., Government School Teachers) having:
  • Banking knowledge and knowledge of financial services.
  • Completed relevant IIBF certification course.
  • At least 10 years of experience as an Officer/Permanent employee.

Note: Candidates must have an unblemished service record and possess a service certificate from the previous employer.

3. Age Limit

• Minimum Age: Above 45 years.
• Maximum Age: Less than 65 years.
• Health: Must possess good health.

4. Local Requirements

• Candidate should be a resident of the same state, preferably the same or nearby district.
• Excellent communication skills in the local language are essential.

Salary / Remuneration

The remuneration is a contract amount calculated as follows:

• For Retired Bank Officials: Amount equivalent to last pay & allowances drawn minus the initial amount of pension fixed before commutation plus relief, etc. OR Rs. 25,000/- p.m., whichever is lower.
• For Non-Pensioners: Fixed at Rs. 25,000/- p.m.
• Additional Lump Sum: Rs. 1,000/- p.m. towards Mobile and Conveyance.

*Note: No other allowances/benefits are admissible.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be done through the following stages:
