The D.A.C. Regional Research Intitule for Homoeopathy, Kolkata intends to engage 01 (one) Research Associate (Bio-technology/Life Science for I.I.E.S.T., Shibpur (Howrah) purely on contract basis through on-line interview as per details Riven below:

3. Qualification:
Ph.D. in Bio-technology/ Life Science/Bio-medical Science/ Bio-Science. OR Three years of research, teaching and design & development experience after PG Degree in the relevant subject (Bio- technology/ Life Science/Bio-Medical Science/ Bio-Sciences) with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed SCI Journal.
4. Salary: Rs. 47,000/- (Consolidated) plus H.R.A. as per rules
5. Period of Engagement: Initially for a period of 03 months but is likely to be extended.
6. Place of Posting: Indian Institute of Engineering of Science and Technology (IIEST), P.O. Botanic Garden, Howrah-711 103 West Bengal

Selection Procedure
1. In case applications from large number of candidates, the competent authority reserves the right to shortlist candidates by adopting appropriate criteria. If necessary the interview may be held next day also.

About Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy
Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) is an apex research organization under Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India which undertakes, coordinates, develops, disseminates and promotes scientific research in Homoeopathy.
The Headquarters of the Council are situated in New Delhi and multi-centric research is conducted through a network of 26 institutes/units all over India.
The Council formulates and conducts research programs/projects; collaborates with national and international institutes of excellence to undertake evidence based research in fundamental and applied aspects of Homoeopathy; monitors extra mural researches and propagates the research findings through monographs, journals, newsletters, I.E.&C. materials, seminars/workshops. Studies comply with the modern scientific parameters and research is undertaken with the goal that the outcome of research translates into practice and the benefit of the research is extended to the profession and the public.
The policies, directions and overall guidance for the activities of the Council are regulated by the Governing body. Hon’ble Minister of AYUSH, GOI presides over the governing body and has general control on the affairs of the Council.
Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) was established in the year 1978, under the Dept. of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. CCRH is primarily a research body. CCRH carries on various research activities such as 'Survey, collection and cultivation of medicinal plants', 'Drug standardisation', 'Drug proving', 'Clinical verification' and 'Clinical research'. Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy also collaborates with other research bodies for researches and monitors extramural researches.
