CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CSIR-CFTRI), Mysuru, has released notification PAT 67/2026 for the engagement of one Project Associate-II under the research project titled "Development of Highly Efficient Oxygen Scavenger Sachets Using Natural Rubber Silica Composites for Enhanced Food Preservation" (Project No. GAP00667).

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Essential Qualification: First class M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology or Food Science and Nutrition (or equivalent) from a recognized university.
• Essential Experience: Minimum 02 years of experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science & Technology Organisations.
• Desirable: Experience in food analysis techniques and product development.
• Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women; 03 years for OBC (as per Govt. of India instructions).
• CSIR Project Staff Limit: Candidates who have completed 6 years as project staff across CSIR labs are not eligible (As per OM No. 5-1(342)/2017-PD dated 02.09.2024).

Selection Process & Screening Clause

1. Candidates must report for a Walk-in Interview at CSIR-CFTRI, Opp. Railway Museum, Mysuru-570020 on 05 November 2026.
2. Registration of candidates will be from 09:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
3. Selection is based on a combination of academic qualification, experience, and performance in the interview.
4. Shortlisting criteria: Percentage of marks, higher qualifications, desirable experience, or any other method deemed fit by the screening committee.
5. Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
