Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) falls under the Federal Ministry of Home Affairs and has its headquarter at New Delhi. CISF provides security to industrial units and establishments across India. Industries like atomic power plants, space installations, defence production units, mints, oil fields and refineries, major ports, heavy engineering, steel plants, barrages, fertilizer units, airports and hydroelectric/thermal power plants, and currency note presses producing Indian currency are protected by Central Industrial Security Force. CISF provides consulting services to some of the major industries of India like TISCO, Jamshedpur, SEBI Hqrs. Mumbai, Vidhana Soudha, Bangalore, Orissa Mining Co., Bhubaneswar, AP Assembly, Hyderabad, Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corp, HIL Kerala, IB Thermal plant,Orissa, IARI, Delhi, NBRI, Lucknow and Electronics City, Bangalore. It also provides airport security. For getting the job of Constable in CISF a candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized university or board and should be physically & medically fit with good eye sight. For Assistant sub inspector job a bachelors degree is a must.
