Qualification & Eligibility
- Programme Manager: Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or Post Graduate degree in Social Work (MSW) with minimum 2 years experience (preferably government sector).
- Legal Professional: Degree in Law with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
- Family Counselor: Master's in Social Work (Medical & Psychiatric), Social Sciences, Gender/Women Studies with minimum 3 years of post-qualification professional experience in counseling.
- Counseling Psychologist: Master's Degree in Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Counseling Psychology with minimum 3 years experience.
- Office Executive: Graduate in any discipline and proficiency in Computer applications.
- Young IT Consultant: BE / B.Tech / MCA or M.Sc. in Computer Science with at least 2 years of experience and basic coding knowledge.
- Young Research Consultant: Master Degree in Social Sciences in the relevant field with at least two years research experiences.
- Age Limit: As Per Rules (refer to official notification).

Educational Qualification:
Programme Manager: Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or Post Graduate degree in Social Work (MSW) from a recognized institution with minimum 2 years experience of working, preferably in the government sector.
Legal Professional: Degree in Law with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
Family Counselor: Master's in Social Work (Medical & Psychiatric), Social Sciences, Gender/Women Studies with minimum 3 years of post-qualification professional experience in counseling, preferably with exposure to domestic violence, trauma management, gender-based violence, and crisis intervention.
Counseling Psychologist: Master's Degree in Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Counseling Psychology with minimum 3 years experience in clinical/psychological counseling, tele-counseling. case management, and women's mental health.
Office Executive: Graduate in any discipline and proficiency in Computer applications.
Young IT Consultant: BE / B.Tech / MCA or an M.Sc. in Computer Science from a recognized University/Institute with at least 2 years of experience. Technical knowledge: Must have basic knowledge of coding and programming.
Young Research Consultant: Master Degree in Social Sciences in the relevant field - Sociology, Psychology, Economics, Social Work, Gender Studies, Statistics etc with at least two years research experiences.

25000-60000/- Per Month

The National Commission for Women was set up as statutory body in January 1992 under the National Commission for Women Act, 1990 (Act No.20 of 1990 of Govt. of India) to review the Constitutional and legal safeguards for women; recommend remedial legislative measures, facilitate redressal of grievances and advise the Government on all policy matters affecting women.
A Brief History
The Committee on the Status of Women in India (CSWI) recommended the establishment of the National Commission for Women to fulfill the surveillance functions to facilitate redressal of grievances and to accelerate the socio-economic development of women.
Successive Committees/Commissions/Plans including the National Perspective Plan for Women (1988-2000) recommended the constitution of an apex body for women.
During 1990, the central government held consultations with NGOs, social workers and experts, regarding the structure, functions, powers etc. of the Commission proposed to be set up.
In May 1990, the Bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha.
In July 1990, the HRD Ministry organized a National Level Conference to elicit suggestions regarding the Bill.
In August 1990 the government moved several amendments and introduced new provisions to vest the commission with the power of a civil court.
The Bill was passed and received accent of the President on 30th August 1990.
The First Commission was constituted on 31st January 1992.
