Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (One Post) purely on temporary basis under the funded project at this Institute.

1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow (One Post)

2. Project Name: Unravelling signatures of growth and salinity adaptation in Etroplus suratensis through omics approaches

3. Duration: Three years / co-terminus with project

4. Degree: Graduate degree in Professional course OR Post-graduate degree in Professional course OR Post-graduate degree in Basic science

5. Discipline: Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/ Life Sciences/ Marine Biotechnology/ other relevant disciplines for the project

6. The candidates should fulfil any one of the following:

a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests (NET) – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant professorship) or GATE.

b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as ICAR, DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

7. Desirable: Research/work experience in Laboratory Biotechniques/aquatic animals. Candidates in Category-II merit list of DBT-BET exam are encouraged to apply.

8. Emoluments: 31,000+24% HRA pm for 1stand 2nd year and 3 rd year as SRF (after evaluation) for Rs: 35,000+24% HRA
