The ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, Kausaylaganga, Bhubaneswar, Odisha invites applications, only for Indian Citizens, through online mode for engagement of 01 (ONE) no. of (SRF), purely on contractual basis to work under “Network Program on Precision Agriculture (NePPA)” at ICAR-CIFA, Bhubaneswar as per details given below:

F. No. 18(34)/NePPA/SKS/2022/Estt.I 

1. Position: 01(One) Senior Research Fellow, (SRF)

2. Duration of engagement: Until 31 March, 2023. (Likely to continue till March 2026)

3. Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- per month +16% HRA for 1st and 2 nd year. Rs. 35,000/- +16% HRA for 3rd year

4. Essential Qualification: M.F.Sc/./M.Sc. in Zoology, Life Sciences / from a recognized university with NET (CSIRUGC/ICMR/DST/DBT -BET/ICAR), GATE, BET, etc. or Graduate Degree in professional course with NET, GATE, etc (qualified CSIRUGC/ICMR/DST/DBT /ICAR examinations)

5. Desirable Qualifications: Academic accomplishments in Fisheries Science and Aquaculture.

Pay Scale: INR 31000 - 35000(Per Month)

Age Limit: Below 35 Years for men and 40 years for women as on closing date of application. Relaxable of age to the SC/ST/OBC and Divyaang candidates will be as per rules.

Selection Procedure

Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview

Interested candidates may visit institute website: http://www.cifa.nic.in for filling the details and submit his/ her application (as per format given) by 17:00 hrs of 12th February 2022. For detailed instructions regarding how to apply

1. The place of posting will be at ICAR-CIFA, Bhubaneswar, Odisha but the SRF is likely to visit different fish farms/ aquaculture zones located in various parts of INDIA.

2. The original certificates and proof of age and caste to be produced at the time of interview/Joining.

3. The selected candidate may also be required to travel, as per requirement of the work.

4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

5. No interim enquiries will be entertained. Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the position.

6. The above engagements are purely temporary and will stand terminated automatically after completion of period indicated in the selection offer, or otherwise intimated subsequently subject to willingness of the candidate.

7. The candidate will not have any right for absorption in ICAR-CIFA/ICAR.

8. The selected candidate may have to join immediately.

9. The Director/ PI/ Competent Authority ICAR-CIFA reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process.

10. The decision of the Director/ PI/ Competent Authority ICAR-CIFA will be final and binding in all respects.

11. The details of short listed candidates will be placed on Institute website and communication for attending interview either personally at ICAR-CIFA, Bhubaneswar or through video conferring will be sent to them through email in advance.
