CMERI CoEFM Eligibility Criteria 2026

Educational Qualification

• Senior Project Associate: B.E./B.Tech + 3 years experience OR M.E./M.Tech + 2 years in Mechanical/Agricultural/Mechatronics/Computer Science/Electronics. Desirable: CAD/CAE, prototype development, AI programming.
• Project Associate II: B.E./B.Tech + 2 years OR M.E./M.Tech in CSE, ECE, EE, IT. Desirable: Python, image processing, mechatronics.
• Project Associate I: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Agricultural/Mechatronics. Desirable: CAD, fabrication, agricultural machinery design.
• Project Assistant II: 3-year Diploma in Agricultural Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.

Age Limit

Maximum 40 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD/Women as per Government of India/CSIR rules.

Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary in the range of ₹20,000 to ₹42,000 plus HRA as per the following structure:

• Senior Project Associate: ₹42,000 + HRA
• Project Associate II: ₹35,000 + HRA or ₹28,000 + HRA
• Project Associate I: ₹25,000 + HRA
• Project Assistant II: ₹20,000 + HRA

All posts are contractual, but you get the experience of working in a CSIR laboratory.
