Sub:Requirement of Full Time Senior Advisor (Mining) in CMPDI.

4. Grade/Level: Retired Director of CPSU (Schedule B Companies) or quivalent from other CPSU or State owned Companies engaged in roduction of Coal in India
5. Qualification: B. Tech/ B.E in Mining Engineering with minimum 60 % Marks & holder of First Class Mines Manager's Certificate of Competency Coal
6. Experience:
The applicant should have minimum 10 years' experience in Preparation of Mining plans and Project Reports for Coal mines. dditionally, he should have experience in Preparation of Feasibility Reports (FR) for metal mines. Preparation/ Formulation of model/ customised Tender Documents for engaging MDOs in Coal Mines. Consultancy regarding implementation of Coal Gasification Projects.
7. Nature of Work:
Advising CMPDI on the following :- (i) Preparation of Feasibility Reports for metal mines. (ii) Formulation of model/customized tender documents of engagement of MDOs for CIL Subsidiaries. (iii) Consultancy services regarding implementation of Coal Gasification Projects of CIL Subsidiaries. (iv) Formulation of policy related reports pertaining to coal mining. Rendering other services as assigned by the higher authorities i.e. CMD, CMPDI and above from time to time.
8. Salary:
a. Consolidated monthly compensation/ honorarium 150000/- - Accommodation Suitable company's accommodation shall be provided on availability. However, if company's accommodation is not available, a consolidated amount of 16% of consolidated pay will be paid.
b. Conveyance-Company shall provide conveyance for Full Time Advisors as per availability. However, if conveyance is not provided, Advisor will be eligible for 5% of consolidated pay per month as conveyance charges.

The Central Mine Planning and Design Institute (CMPDI) is a fully owned subsidiary of Coal India Limited, engaged in the field of environmental engineering and provides consultancy and engineering services across the globe. It is a public sector undertaking under the Government of India and is rated as a Schedule-B and Mini Ratna-II company.
The Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited was established in 1974, under Coal Mines Authority Limited (CMAL) (former name of Coal India Limited), out of the planning division of now defunct National Coal Development Corporation (NCDC) as a single window set up to consolidate all aspects of Indian mining industry under one roof. Subsequent to the nationalization of coal mining in India, CMPDI was reconstituted as a public sector undertaking in 1975.
The company has its headquarters in Ranchi, Jharkhand and is involved in mineral exploration, resource evaluation, resource management, mining geology, hydrogeological and geophysical studies and engineering geology investigations.
CMPDI is qualified to offer consultancy services in the fields of environmental engineering such as open pit and underground mine planning and design in coal, lignite and other minerals. The Institute is active in geological exploration, geological, geotechnical and allied support, mine planning and design, environmental management and training services.
CMPDI has regional institutes (RIs) at Asansol, Dhanbad, Ranchi, Nagpur, Bilaspur, Singrauli, and Bhubaneswar to extend its coverage nationwide and has various field units and exploration camps.
