Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Project Junior Research Fellow

  • Essential Qualification: M. Sc. Microbiology / Biotechnology.
  • Desirable: Work experience in soil nutrient and microbial analysis, Real-time PCR and Next-generation-sequencing.

Salary / Stipend

  • Rs. 31000/- + HRA per month: Applicable for M. Sc. (Microbiology / Biotechnology) scholars who are selected through (a) National eligibility tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) a selection process through National level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions.
  • Rs. 23213/- fixed per month: Applicable for others i.e. M.Sc. (Microbiology / Biotechnology) who do not fall under (a) and (b) above.
