CSMCRI Recruitment 2026: Project Associate-I Walk-in Interview

The Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI), a premier constituent laboratory of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), has announced a recruitment drive for 2026. This notification invites eligible candidates to attend a Walk-in Interview for the position of Project Associate-I.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates holding an M.Sc degree in Marine Biology, Marine Science, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences to work on research projects at the Marine Algal Research Station in Mandapam, Tamil Nadu. Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

  • Required: M.Sc. in Marine Biology / Marine Science / Biotechnology / Life Sciences.
  • Desirable: Experience in seaweed farming & marine field sampling / Diving certificate.

2. Age Limit & Relaxation

  • Maximum Age: 35 years.
  • Age Relaxation: Applicable as per CSIR/Government of India norms (SC/ST/OBC/PwD).
  • Note: Age is calculated as of the date of the interview.

3. Mandatory Requirements

  • Candidates must bring all original documents (Educational, Experience, ID Proof) along with one set of self-attested photocopies.
  • Duly filled application form with a recent photograph.
