Skills / Eligibility
It is proposed to fill up one post of Junior Research Fellow under the SERB funded project titled "Micro tuber production and gene prospecting for photoresponsive tuberisation in Ipomoea balatas (L.) Lam" funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt of India under CRG programme by walk in interview 1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow 2. No of Post: 01 3. Duration: Initial appointment is for one year, which is extendable upto 3 years solely based on the performance/or co-terminus with the project whichever is earlier 4. Qualification: M.Sc(Agriculture/ Botany/ Biotechnology/ or equivalent (AND) Qualified National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship(Assistant professorship) OR GATE (OR) Qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as etc. 5. Desirable: Field experience in sweet potato and experience in plant tissue culture and molecular biology 6. Salary: Rs.31 ,000 per month + 16% HRA for first 2 years and 35000/- per month + 16% HRA for third year

1. Walk in interview (written test & interview) at ICAR-Central Tuber Cro s Research Institute, Thiruvananthapuram-695 017 on 23.03.2022 at 10.00 am.
2. The candidates should bring original certificates, one set of photocopies of certificates, experience certificate if applicable and latest passport size photograph alongwith filled application(Proforma enclosed)at the time of interview.
