Educational Qualification:Post-specific qualifications (Class 12 pass with HMV licence for Driver posts, ITI Diploma for Mechanic, etc.) as detailed in the vacancy table.
Age Limit:Minimum 18 years and Maximum 28 years as on 01.01.2025. A general 5-year relaxation is applicable to all candidates. Additional relaxations for SC/ST/OBC, women, Ex-Servicemen, and other categories as per Chhattisgarh Government rules, subject to a maximum age of 45 years.
Pay Scale: All posts are in Pay Matrix Level 4 (as per 7th CPC). Probation period: 3 years.
Selection Procedure:
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Already conducted by the department.
- Written Examination (NSSK26) – 100 objective questions (General Knowledge & Reasoning), 2 hours, no negative marking. Qualifying marks: General (40), SC/ST/OBC (30).
- Trade Test – For Driver and Driver-cum-Operator posts (100 marks, qualifying marks: General 50, Reserved 40).
- Bonus Marks – Up to 10 marks for HMV licence (not for Driver posts), national-level sports proficiency, and NCC 'C' certificate.
- Final Merit – Based on PET + Written Exam + Bonus Marks.
Application Fee (For Written Exam Stage): General: ₹350; OBC: ₹250; SC/ST/PwD: ₹200. Fee is refundable to Chhattisgarh local-resident candidates who appear for the written exam (after result declaration).
