Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute Invites Application for Legal Consultant Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up of 01 (One) No. of Legal consultant (Part time basis) for Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute, ISt Campus (Hazra) and 2nd Campus (Rajarhat) for a period of 6 (six) months initially and extendable for a period of maximum 2 years subject to his/her satisfactory performance and requirements.

3. Qualification: Should have at least a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university of law However, master's degree in law related field preferable

4. Experience: Adequate knowledge and experience in constitutional matters, Right to Information Act, Labour Laws.

5. Job Responsibility:

a. The Legal consultant will be accountable for taking the day-to-day legal responsibilities and providing legal advice that includes, but not limited to all, the aspects of the nalysis, investigations and drafting process as listed:

b. To provide advice on different legal issues, To be actively involved in preparing and drafting of different statutory and legal ubmissions and draft the authoritative legal opinions as well.

c. To assist in reviewing the legal material and any other relevant documents and to identify the most important issues that need to be sorted out on a priority basis,

d. To coordinate, follow-up and monitor the progress of the cases pending in various ourts of law across the country in consultation with the council's legal representatives,

e. Taking a lead role, especially during meetings, hearing etc, and prioritizing work to nsure that the services delivered to the counsel are of high quality.

f. To maintain liaison between sr. Advocate / counsels of Govt. of India.

6. Tenure: 6 (six) months initially and extendable for a period of maximum 2 years subject to his satisfactory performance and requirements.

7. Pay: Suitable candidate may be paid a remuneration of Rs. 30,000/- (fixed).

8. Nature of Duty: Visit & Consultation 3 days in ISt campus i.e., Hazra campus and 3 days in 2n4 campus, i.e. Rajarhat Campus usual office hours.
