Sub: Vacancy Notice for the post of Assistant Manager (Corporate Communication) at Corporate Office, DFCCIL on Deputation basis.

1. Position: Assistant Manager (Corporate Communication)

2. No of Post: 01

3. Location: Corporate Office

4. Duration: 3 years extendable to 5 years (subject to exemption by DPE from the rule of immediate absorption)

5. Service: Officers/Supervisors/lnspector in CPRO office of lndian Railway, Public Relation Officers of Central GoWCPSU etc

6. Term of Appointment: Deputation

7. Scale of Pay: Parent pay plus deputation allowance (Any att other perks and Allowances applicable as per DFCCIL policy).

8. Specific Requirements: Assistant Manager - Group B officers of Central/State govt. in the relevant discipline or PSU employees working in analogous grade in relevant discipline or in Rs. 50000 - 160000 (lDA) (E2) with four years service in that grade.

9. Job Description:

a. Publicity of ongoing projects of DFCCIL. Brief GGM/OP&BD-II in the morning with news.

b. Release of Tenders to Newspapers including assigning of agency and payment of related bills Monitoring the work related to empanelment of advertising agencies.

c. Drafting MD's articles for publication in various magazines. Drafting speeches/messages for Republic Day, Independence Day and Annual day for MD.

d. Branding of DFCCIL in logistics industry specifically rail transportation sector information dissemination: preparation, processing and dissemination of relevant information on public platform/social media.

e Organising PR related works for ceremonial functions, Press conferences, Press Meets, Press briefings, Press Tours, Informal Media Interaction.

10. Specific Experience:

a. Minimum 3 years' experience in Sr. Publicity Inspector o minimum5 years experience as publicity inspector (Sr Publicity Inspector+ Chief Publicity Inspector). Experience of- Preparation and dissemination of information related to PR such as Press release, press briefs, etc. through print electronic and social media interface.

b. Drafting of speeches (by GM, etc.), brochures, articles and messages at different events/magazines. Participation in Exhibitions Interaction with zonal railways and medias & channels of latest information during accident/disaster or other emergency situations

11. Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication and higher academic profile in any discipline will be preferred.
