The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), India, has released Deputation Vacancy Notice No. 03/2026. 1. Who can Apply

This vacancy is strictly for deputation. Eligible candidates must be officers from:

• Central Government / State Governments / UT Administrations.

2. Service Requirements (General)

Generally, candidates must fall into one of these categories:

• Option A: Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre.
• Option B: Rendering specific years of service in a lower level (e.g., Level-11 for Level-12 posts, Level-8 for Level-11 posts, etc.).

3. Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
• Note: No age relaxation is applicable as the recruitment is strictly for deputation of serving government officers who are already within the service age limits.

4. Key Educational Qualifications

• Joint Director/Senior Research Officer: Master’s Degree in Law/Social Science (Pol Sc, Socio, Eco, HR, Psych, Crim) or Statistics + Research Experience.
• Assistant Registrar/Under Secretary/PPS: Bachelor’s Degree. (Law Degree required for ASO).
• Programmer Assistant: Master’s Degree in Stats/Maths/OR/Physics/Eco/Commerce (with Stats) OR Bachelor’s in Engg/CS + Computer Programming Experience.
• Drivers/Despatch Rider: 10th Pass + Valid Driving License + Experience (3 years for Driver, 2 years for Rider).

Selection Process

Since this is a deputation vacancy:

• Screening: Applications will be screened based on eligibility and service record.
• Documents Required: Attested photocopies of last 5 years APARs (Annual Performance Appraisal Reports), Integrity Certificate, Vigilance Clearance, and details of major/minor punishments.
• Interview: An interview may be conducted, but selection is primarily based on the suitability of the officer for the post.
• Medical Test: Required for Driver posts (Physical fitness).
