Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Option 1: Graduate Degree in professional course (B.E. / B.Tech) in Aeronautical Engineering in first division with GATE qualification.
- Option 2: Post Graduate Degree in professional course (M.E. / M.Tech) in Aeronautical Engineering in first division (both at Graduate & Post Graduate Level).
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 28 years.
- Age Calculation: Age is calculated as on the last date for receipt of application (16 February 2026).
- Relaxation: Upper age limit relaxable for SC, ST & OBC (NCL) categories as per Government Rules.
Mandatory Requirements
- NOC: Candidates currently employed in Government/PSUs/Autonomous bodies must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.
- Original Certificates: All educational qualifications and experience certificates must be produced in original during the interview.
Selection Process
The selection for the Junior Research Fellow post will be based on the following stage:
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Note: Offer of Fellowship does not confer any right for absorption in DRDO.
Travel Reimbursement: Candidates attending the interview will be reimbursed to and fro sleeper class railway fare by the shortest route.
