DRDO Young Scientist Laboratory - AI Invites Application for 4 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Recruitment 2026

Candidates who wish to apply for the DRDO DYSL AI JRF position must follow the offline or email application process below.

1. Read Official Notification: Download the official notification and application form from www.drdo.gov.in.
2. Prepare Application: Fill the application form (Annexure - I) completely. Attach a recent passport-size photograph.
3. Attach Documents: Attach self-attested copies of educational certificates, age proof, caste certificate (if applicable), and CV. Government employees must attach Annexure II (Declaration) and Annexure III (No Objection Certificate).
4. Send by Post: Send the completed application to the address below. Write "Application for JRF recruitment" in bold on the top of the envelope.

Important: The last date for receipt of applications is 14th August 2026 (or 21 days from publication in Employment News, whichever is earlier). Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.

• Eligibility: Ensure you meet the specific educational qualification (B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech or M.Sc.) and first-division marks criteria. NET/GATE is mandatory for certain categories.
• Application Mode: You can apply by post or email. If applying by post, clearly mark the envelope.
• CGPA Conversion: Attach a proof of CGPA to percentage conversion formula from your university.
• Government Employees: Must submit a "No Objection Certificate" (Annexure III) at the time of interview and inform their Cadre Controlling Authority (Annexure II).
• Important: Candidates already awarded JRF in any DRDO lab/center are not eligible to apply again.
• No TA/DA: No travel or dearness allowance will be paid for attending the interview or for joining.
• Temporary Fellowship: The fellowship is temporary and does not confer any right for absorption in DRDO.
• Specialization: Highlight your expertise in AI/ML, programming, and specific areas like NLP, Computer Vision, or SLAM in your application.
