Educational Qualification: M.A

Applications are invited for written examination test from eligible candidates for filling up the following positions on (contract basis) in the Department. Applications can be submitted in ONLINE mode through web link provided at website www.govt.thapar.edu

1. Name of the post: Information Education and Communication (IEC) Specialist

2. No of Post: 20

3. Monthly consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 20000/- PM + TA + Mobile Allowance

4. Essential Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Mass Communication/ Journalism from a recognized University. Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subject or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language, which may be specified by the Govt. from time to time. 'Minimum 02-year experience in areas such as social development/social policy, socio- economic or specific issue such as health, education, gender, poverty or related field.

5. Desirable Qualification: 'Candidate to have basic knowledge of computer and should be well versed with social media application such as Whatsapp, Facebook. 'Work experience in strategic planning for behavior development/ social mobilizing/ advocacy/ participatory development.
