Educational Qualification:
(i) A Master's degree in any subject with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven points scale
(ii) Nine years of experience as Assistant Professor and above with experience in educational administration
(iii) comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education
(iv) 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post. Desirable: Ph.D. Degree.

Dibrugarh University was established in 1965 at Rajabheta. Dibrugarh district known internationally as a rich tea producing district is also known for its rich reserve of minerals like coal, oil, and natural gas.
