The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) is an Indian government agency responsible for the regulation and promotion of foreign trade. It operates under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and is tasked with implementing and enforcing policies related to India's international trade.

The DGFT is responsible for issuing licenses and authorizations for various export and import activities, including import-export code (IEC) registration, export promotion capital goods (EPCG) schemes, and advance authorization schemes.
